Long story short: My mom told me today that my dad and her had talked about separating for a while. I didn't know what to say to her so, I didn't say too much of anything.
This is coming as quite a shock to me. I never thought that my parents would have separated, ever.
I don't know what to do. I don't know what to think.
I wish I was back home in Provo so I could be held by one of you guys. I'm really scared.
My parents have played that game many times, most recently while I was on my NY trip. I know it's scary, and I know how it shatters your world and your heart. Know that God will love you and take care of you. Sending my thoughts and prayers your way. Love you!

Not sure how old your parents are, but many couples go through a "mid-life crisis" of sorts. A lot of times things work themselves out, so I wouldn't panic yet. Just be loving, supportive, and pray for them (maybe put their name in the Temple). Not sure what else you can do, really. Its their relationship, after all. I'll include you and your family in my prayers as well.
